Logistics – more than just transport
Logistics is something we all use – often without thinking about it.
From getting the kids to school on time, to grocery shopping and planning the week, much of our everyday lives revolve around logistics. It's about getting things done, at the right time, and in the right place.
But logistics doesn't stop there.
In the workplace, logistics are crucial, whether you work in the public sector, private business or the military. It's about planning, coordination and, last but not least, communication. Without good logistics, systems grind to a halt.
On a larger level, logistics governs how goods move around the world. Everything from food to technology depends on someone having planned how to transport it efficiently.
What fascinates me is how the same principles apply everywhere – from busy family life to global supply chains.
In this blog, I want to explore just this: How logistics affects our lives, both in small and large ways.
